Andrew Stewart

Executive Director & Founder

Experience

Andrew has thirty four years pioneering experience in systems and organisation wide performance improvement across most industries and services. As one of the innovation, change and value chain leaders in Australia he is a leader in industry and leadership change – facilitating, training and mentoring individuals and groups in seeing and understanding the potential and requirements for sustainable performance improvement.

His major role is working with organisation leaders in deploying strategies and policies to achieve objectives and developing frameworks and structures to achieve sustainable success.  A key capability is the training and mentoring of leaders in change management and people engagement that ensures sustainable success.

Andrew worked with Professor Peter Hines in introducing Lean Enterprise thinking in Australia and is a lean trainer and lead consultant.  Consistent with all Intelog people he is a hands-on and practical change leader that works well with leaders and frontline people.

Bernie Kelly

Managing Director

Experience

Bernie is an innovation leader in promoting and delivering sustainable business and healthcare performance improvement in Australia.  His capability is firmly based on twenty years of business performance improvement with the twelve of those years in senior management and director roles with leading organisations (local and global), leading teams of up to 1000 people in major performance improvement initiatives.  He has had the over-arching change program leader role for such things as multi-million dollar year on year cost reductions, capacity expansion, new asset / facility implementation, corporate governance, ERP implementations, quality, safety, and environmental systems and internal financial control systems implementation.

His passion includes assisting business leaders as a facilitator and coach with strategy execution, integrating people, processes, and systems.  Bernie has worked with Professor Peter Hines as well as with leading USA based innovation leaders such as Cindy Jimmerson of Lean Healthcare West.

Derek Duncan

Associate Director – Business Performance

Experience

Throughout Derek’s career he has been unanimously regarded as being a leader in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and change management, outsourcing, downsizing,labor negotiations, and executive coaching.

Overall Derek’s success in business has been built on an in depth understanding of people, operations, change processes and line management in the many facets of food production, from pet food to chocolate, to French fries and vegetables, plus textiles and mining.

Most recently Derek was with McCain Foods Inc in Chicago USA in a global corporate talent development role with the Global Integrated Supply Chain group.

Derek has had a successful career starting in the electricity supply sector and mining sector before commencing in the FMCG sector with Mars Incorporated at two plants, Wodongaand Ballarat Victoria.

Thirteen years at Mars in a variety of operational roles culminated in a plant manager role and then a move into a senior human resources position in recognition of his people management and organizational skills.

A career in Human Resources continued in the textile industry (Godfrey Hirst) and then a return to the food industry with McCain Foods.

Lee Brockett

Senior Business Improvement Consultant

Experience

Lee has significant operational management roles and experience through periods of extensive change incorporating project management, process improvement, quality systems, and preventative maintenance systems. He has led multi-disciplinary improvement teams across a range of industries as facilitator and coach implementing continuous Improvement programs and diagnostic analysis and process improvement solution development. Lee is a qualified Cert IV trainer.

Stephen Biss

Associate Director - Senior Consultant

Experience

Stephen has had 19 years consulting experience as Director, Associate Director Managing Partner and Principal Consultant, starting his consulting career with one of the multinational Accounting and Consulting firms. His Business experience includes periods as General Manager & Director of Marketing and Logistics in two major Australian Companies. These roles entailed procurement and inventory control responsibility for around $150 Millions of merchandise.
